The first application, which includes Riverside Gardens, was approved (23/05402/FUL) in March 2023 and work is progressing on schedule.
The latest CGI imagery below illustrates the current phase of works, which will deliver the new Riverside Garden. While the scheme has evolved in response to rising construction costs and the site’s complexity and engineering challenges, the garden remains a central and valued element of the long‑term vision for the area. Work remains on schedule, with completion anticipated by the end of 2026.

As the kerb work starts to be constructed the name of the new Park is emerging and is now set in stone!
